Hey, how're your role play games going? Is there anyone in particular you'd like to see at the RPG table? (this is me, living vicariously through you. Been trying to get various games going, thwarted by constant cancellations)
Hey, yeah, pretty okay sometimes. Though I’d love a few more people in on it. ((And this is me, confused by what you mean, but if you’re thinking about getting a game going online, I’m game))
((I apollogise for, well, dying from the internet for the past couple of months, been absurdly busy. But Billy Borden is back and ready to rock. And by rock, I mean roll, and by roll, I mean some dice.))
Anonymous asked:
How did you get into RPGs?
((Ooc: Just be seeing a character wasn’t taken and going, AHA, I WILL BE HIM.))
Anonymous asked:
Hey Billy! Let's party! You bring the beer?
Sweet! As long as you bring video games.
scottish-grimalkin asked:
Would you like to play with me little Wolf boy? I'd love to be able to stretch my Claws.
No offense man, but you kinda creep me out.
((at work for two hours just occasionally looking on tumblr, seeing Marcones snappy interactions with Tessa. I do want online on something other than my phone))
DJ Molly-C is in the house: On this side of the Never Never…
As the Hellfire raged outside and the presence of the Walker lessened, Ebenezer grabbed Molly and dragged her into the front room. As he did, he searched the assembled masses and picked out the one person who could possibly pass for the what he had in mind. He brought the black…
I ran towards the aged wizard and upon hearing his plan simply nodded. I didnt like leaving the boss but before i knew it a strange cool feeling rushed over my skin. a quick glance off a toaster oven showed neon locks of hair and i had no choice. technically I WAS with the boss and i ran ignoring the discomfort towards teh portal. Screwing with evil. check. about to deal with possibly a vindictive Sidhe. Check.In.Out. In. Out. I jumped through teh rip in the air. Something i’m used to and glanced behind em to check on who was behind me. Hendricks? hmmm. Have gun? good. why did i have matches and an aerosol can on my waist? Fire. Will come in handy.
I jumped in and felt warm grass under me. “We shouuld keep running?” In .Out. In. Out.
Billy barely realized what was going on, one second things were fine, admittedly tense and somewhat panicked, but safe. Now this, despite trying to remain calm his thoughts were darting all over the place. One of which saw Molly heading into the portal the loud, new woman had opened up.
He didn’t want to make rash actions, but seeing the door creak and fly off, the portal seemed a good option and seeing Ebenezer rush into it seemed a good way to go.
He rushed through, trying not to collide with anyone on the way.
“Just Carlos, Wizard Ebenezer McCoy, and us,” Molly said softly. “Harry went to do more research and set some wards…..I….I don’t know where he is. Or my dad…..Thomas went to find him, though….” She looked at Marcone, her eyes wide and frightened. “I….I don’t know what to do, Mr. Marcone,” she said softly.
“Three wizards, Hendricks, and I…” John muttered, distractedly. He shook his head. “Ms.- Molly. You have some of the most powerful people in the country in your house, protecting you, as well as a vampire and possibly another wizard looking for your father.” He reached for her hand. “Everything will be fine,” he said softly.
Marcone turned to Hendricks and motioned to the duffle at his side. ”Yes, Boss,” Hendricks said, ”set up the weapons.” He glanced around the room, talking mostly to himself, but loud enough to be heard. ”We’ll need easily definsible areas that won’t be too badly damaged by flamethrowers.”
Molly smiled weakly at Marcone’s reassurances. When he reached for her hand, she took it in both of hers and squeezed it gratefully. “Thank you so much,” she said, meeting his eyes for a brief moment before looking away. After a moment, she dropped his hand and bustled off, saying something about cleaning up the kitchen.
Billy had eventually managed to make his own way to the Carpenter household, dipping through the backstreets as fast as he could. Georgia hadn’t been able to come with him, but despite the mountain of things needed back home, this took a deal of priority.
He found his way to the Carpenter’s front door, human shape and clothes dirtied, but there. He raised a hand to knock firmly.Ebenezer watches as Molly goes into the kitchen and turns to Marcone. “You must be ‘The Gentlemen’ Harry told me about.” He studies the man, then nods. “Glad to have you here, Marcone.” He turns to Hendricks and says, “I’m working on the flamethrower-safe regions, big fella. Trying to set up wards to help the areas avoid damage from the elements, just in case I have to throw down. And pray to whatever God you do that I don’t have to.”
McCoy looks up at the door as Billy knocks, and turns on the Sight. He opens it slowly, and looks at the man on the other side. “And you are…?”
Billy stiffened at the sight of the man, he had expected either Molly or Charity and sincerely hoping for the former. But he hadn’t seen this man before. A strange feeling went through his instinct and he had a feeling that being polite was a good move to anyone in the Carpenter household.
“William Borden, sir,” he fought an urge to salute, “I heard about what’s going on, and well, I thought I’d lend what I can.”
He tried to fix his gaze to look confident but it settled for only slightly nervous.
